Johnson & Johnson, a global healthcare leader with more than 250 operating companies, faced major challenges aligning data definitions and systems across 50+ ERP environments to support supply chain consolidation and consolidated invoicing. To address the lack of data standards, ownership, and trustworthy business insight, Johnson & Johnson engaged DATUM LLC for EIM strategy and data governance support.

DATUM LLC helped design a global data governance board, charter, and change management framework, and used Information Value Management® to document and publish the governance design. This work enabled executive approval of the enterprise supply chain redesign and created a foundation for ERP selection, MDM optimization, and EIM acceleration, along with scorecard metrics, standardization candidates, and improved organizational alignment.
