Synoptek Anticipates a 30% Efficiency Gain with Unified PSA-RMM

Synoptek, an MSP led by CTO Eric Westrom, faced operational inefficiencies from disparate tools—an outgrown legacy RMM separate from its business management platforms—and internal conflict over which systems to use. Leadership mandated consolidation so employees could access company data in one place and manage projects, financials and tickets without switching between systems.

Synoptek selected Datto for its integrated Datto RMM and Autotask PSA platform and worked with Datto’s professional services to migrate more than 20,000 endpoints (implementation completed December 2017). The unified PSA–RMM solution centralized dashboards and workflows, eliminated separate logins, and is projected to deliver at least a 30% efficiency gain while becoming the standard platform for future acquisitions.
