Solutions Granted, a channel-focused cybersecurity provider serving over 700 MSPs, needed a best-of-breed endpoint solution to shore up gaps in backup, detection and reporting for its in‑house MDR. Their challenge was detecting low-and-slow reconnaissance activity early, accelerating investigations and mitigation, and finding a collaborative partner rather than just another vendor.
Following Datto’s acquisition of Infocyte, Solutions Granted adopted Datto EDR as its primary EDR and threat‑hunting tool, using YARA rule support, script automation and advanced reconnaissance detection to spot XOR‑encoded scripts, Jupyter/Cobalt Strike activity and other stealthy threats. The outcome was faster validation and containment, stronger threat hunting and reporting capabilities for customers, and a closer Datto partnership that strengthened Solutions Granted’s channel offerings.
