Prosource Delivers Powerful Networking Solutions with Open Mesh and Datto

Prosource is a large Midwest managed service provider supporting small businesses across Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, and West Virginia. Faced with poor internet access at the National Muzzle Loading Rifle Association’s large biannual events — where thousands of attendees and hundreds of vendors expect reliable connectivity — Prosource needed a managed networking solution that could scale, perform, and generate recurring revenue.

Prosource deployed five Open Mesh MR-1750 access points around the NMLRA facility, enabled bandwidth throttling to prevent single users from hogging capacity, and plans to migrate the APs to Datto Networking with additional AP60 units and increased upstream bandwidth. The upgrade delivered noticeably better WiFi, positive feedback from attendees and vendors, and positioned Prosource to offer managed networking as a monthly service that attracts and retains event visitors.
