Datto, a provider of business data protection, and Richmond, Texas MSP Frontline Computer Services responded to the disruption Hurricane Harvey caused for local businesses. When flooding damaged Corporate Assets’ office and ruined a workstation, the client faced lost access to data and weeks without connectivity just as the region needed to file insurance claims and resume operations.

Frontline had preemptively backed up clients off-site and worked with Datto’s newly formed Disaster Response Team to deploy a Datto Networking Appliance (DNA) using 4G LTE, relocate the team, and restore network access immediately. The quick setup gave the client instant access to backups, allowed critical claims processing to resume, and enabled Frontline and Datto to help additional local businesses—establishing the DRT as an on-call resource for rapid disaster recovery.
