Aldridge, a managed services provider for growing SMBs, supports Texas-based Complete Pharmacy Care (CPC). In the pre-dawn hours a malicious break-in left CPC’s server room soaked and ransacked—hard drives and cabling ripped out and all systems that handled prescriptions, fax, email and phones rendered unusable—threatening the pharmacy’s ability to operate and communicate with patients.
Because Aldridge had nightly Datto offsite backups, technicians verified the backups and spun CPC’s servers up in the Datto cloud within an hour, allowing staff to access critical data and resume limited patient service by the next day. Aldridge then restored backups to new hardware and migrated the environment to the cloud, resulting in one day of downtime, zero data loss, and the preservation of the business and patient care.
