The Gresham Hotel, a 200‑year‑old landmark in Dublin, needed reliable internet across 323 bedrooms, 19 meeting rooms and all public areas despite mainly concrete buildings. Their aging, piecemeal Wi‑Fi (built on since 2005) generated frequent guest complaints and was difficult to maintain, creating pressure to deploy a robust, cost‑effective solution.

They chose Open Mesh and installed 57 access points (down from 121), most in gateway mode, and centralized management with the CloudTrax cloud controller. The new AC access points are easy to set up and monitor remotely, complaints have dropped to zero, guest feedback is overwhelmingly positive, and hotel management now has confidence and simple tools to resolve any connectivity issues.
