Mission Solano, a Fairfield, CA nonprofit that provides long-term residential treatment for homeless addicted men, women, and veterans, had a patchwork of consumer routers with no central plan, inconsistent coverage, and limited control. They engaged local MSP David Mercer Consulting to unify the system and deliver reliable, manageable WiFi across the property.

Mercer deployed Open Mesh MR1750 access points (five initially, plus one added as a repeater) and used CloudTrax cloud management for easy setup, monitoring, and mapping. The result is full-property coverage with separate private networks for staff and consultants, a bandwidth-limited guest network with voucher-based higher-speed access, simpler management, and clear usage visibility.
