Onninen, a Finnish supplier of technical materials serving B2B and B2C customers, needed to replace the technology behind its retail online store and connect it more effectively with its B2B platform. Working with DatoCMS and Unity Group, the company set out to create a single foundation for managing content across multiple sales channels.

DatoCMS provided the headless CMS platform that powered a new architecture for Onninen, with content distributed from one central panel via API. Built with React.js and Next.js and integrated with Onninen’s transactional e-commerce API, the solution enabled real-time publishing and editing across all touch-points, AI-based media management, reusable page components, and a scalable setup for future sales channels and content-driven growth.
