HighFive Health, a startup focused on reducing improper medication use and preventing unplanned readmissions, needed an easy-to-manage, scalable mobile solution to connect patients and clinicians and improve medication adherence. To meet that challenge the company deployed DataXoom’s next-generation MVNO mobile data service and management portal to provide secure, business-ready connectivity for its patient-centered apps and tablet fleet.

DataXoom delivered multi-carrier, no-contract mobile data plans with enterprise management, simplified billing and rapid onboarding, allowing HighFive Health to pre-activate devices and provision nurses during a single 90-minute training session. More than 250 nurses already use secure, encrypted tablets pre-loaded with HighFive’s app and DataXoom service (expected to exceed 500 by year-end), enabling faster deployment, fewer surprises on costs, and better support for the company’s goal of reducing adverse drug events and hospital readmissions.
