Duke Realty, a commercial real estate developer with more than 580 properties across roughly 15 states, needed reliable, flexible and cost-effective mobile data for managers, sales teams and field staff working at construction sites and on the road. The company found single-carrier plans insufficient and engaged DataXoom for a multi-carrier, no-contract, pay‑as‑you‑go mobile data service with embedded SIM support and 4G LTE hotspot/router options.

DataXoom deployed embedded SIMs in about 150 Lenovo laptops and 4G LTE routers at roughly 15 sites, providing pooled data plans, single consolidated billing and fast device activation with enterprise management tools. The result was smoother support and simpler billing, with reported activation "zero challenges" and measurable savings of 10–20% on mobile data costs to date, with additional operational benefits expected as the DataXoom service is expanded.
