Kooperativa, the second-largest general-purpose insurance company in the Czech Republic, needed a better way to support its anti-fraud office in claims fraud scoring, identifying new fraud schemes, investigations, and link analysis. DataWalk provided its analytics platform to help analysts detect suspicious claims more effectively across a large customer base and complex insurance environment.

DataWalk implemented a solution combining machine learning, NLP, expert rules, graph analytics, and investigative tools to uncover anomalies, trends, and emerging fraud patterns through its “Fraud Of Tomorrow” capabilities. The result was an acceptance rate of over 70% for flagged claims being confirmed as suspicious by analysts, with 35 concurrent users supported on a 2TB database, significantly accelerating fraud detection and case investigation.
