U.S. Telecom Company, a 10,000-employee global carrier, needed to upgrade its Oracle EBS (Oracle E-Business Suite) and Oracle Database ahead of Oracle’s Premier Support expiration for EBS 12.2. As a long-time customer and managed services partner, the company engaged Datavail to plan and execute the upgrade and ensure ongoing support and compatibility.

Datavail combined the Oracle EBS 12.2 upgrade with a database upgrade from Oracle Database 12c to 19c, applied required patches, and cleaned up thousands of old database jobs—cutting a database upgrade window from 26 hours in early runs to just 6 hours in the final run and completing the EBS cutover in under 24 hours (vs. the 3 days originally allocated).
