U.S. Telecom Company - Customer Case Study

U.S. Telecom Company, a 10,000-employee multinational with dispersed locations, needed to upgrade its Oracle EPM environment before Oracle’s Premier Support for EPM 11.1.2.4 expired in December 2021. As a long-time customer and Oracle E-Business Suite managed services client, they engaged DatAvail to plan and perform the EPM 11.2 upgrade.

DatAvail built and tested a Test then Production environment, migrating Foundation Services, Essbase, Provider Services, Financial Reporting, Calculation Manager and application data, and implemented LCM backups and automated start/stop scripting to improve operations. The upgrade was completed smoothly by DatAvail, providing the U.S. Telecom Company support assurance through at least December 2030, easier future moves to EPM 11.2.X, and tangible operational efficiencies and reduced upgrade risk.
