DatAvail deployed dedicated US and offshore DBA teams (the customer noted adding two teams of skilled DBAs for about the cost of a single in‑house senior DBA), providing on‑call and first‑line support so internal IT could refocus on business projects. According to the survey, DatAvail improved round‑the‑clock coverage, DBA expertise, and database environment quality and enabled staff reallocation, though the customer reported no cost savings from remote management and no improvement in database availability, reliability, or performance.
