The Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) faced a crisis of scale and efficiency: outdated, siloed administration processes left staff saddled with manual work and slow response times across nearly 80,000 registered people, corporations and agencies. Seeking better access to information, electronic workflows, scalability, self-service and cost reductions, FSCO engaged Datavail to modernize its Motor Vehicle Accident Claims Fund and harmonize the three pillars of its business using a Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution.
Datavail delivered the largest Dynamics CRM project the team had undertaken, building a secure public and customer self-service portal, integrating a SharePoint document repository, and standardizing business processes to enable cross-training and faster workflows. The Datavail solution was delivered on time and on budget, broke down silos across FSCO’s operations, improved accessibility and stakeholder satisfaction, reduced manual effort, and has attracted interest from other government departments evaluating similar streamlining efforts.
