RevTrax is an AI-driven promotional and offer-management platform for consumer packaged goods and retail brands that tracks attribution across the full conversion funnel. Operating across multiple data centers, RevTrax outgrew MySQL—facing scaling limits, unreliable uptime, and concerns about single points of failure as demand and data volume grew.
RevTrax moved to DataStax Enterprise (Apache Cassandra) for its masterless, durable architecture, linear read/write scalability, and enterprise support. The change delivered dramatic improvements: far better performance (up to 10x), significantly reduced downtime toward a zero-downtime goal with DNS failover and self-healing clusters, and the capacity to scale for advanced AI workloads and hybrid-cloud expansion.
