jKool Empowers Customers with Real-Time Data Visualization with DataStax Enterprise

jKool is a SaaS platform that provides real-time visualization and analysis of streaming and time-series data for developers and end users. Faced with the need to support both moment-to-moment streaming views and longer-term “post‑game” historical analysis, jKool needed a backend that could handle high transaction rates, scale easily, and offer powerful search across structured and unstructured data without the bottlenecks they’d seen with relational databases.

jKool built its service on DataStax Enterprise (Cassandra) with DSE Search (Solr) to power fast queries and full-text search, running in the cloud and exposing visualizations via its jKQL language. The result was rapid time-to-market, seamless scaling for real-time and historical use cases, improved performance and searchability, and valuable platform support from DataStax that helped optimize operations.
