Saab Medav Technologies, part of the Saab Group, needed to modernize its Information Fusion System (IFS) to consolidate several parallel databases into a single, scalable, easy‑to‑manage platform. Saab Medav adopted DataStax Enterprise (Apache Cassandra) with DSE Graph, Search and Analytics to provide a unified database for graph queries, full‑text search and analytics. The new platform reduced complexity, hardware and staffing costs, enabled real‑time analysis of millions of records with clear graphical reporting, and delivered a uniformly extensible, web‑based interface that future‑proofs customers’ IT infrastructure.
