Moore, a family-owned mechanical contractor with over 600 employees and more than $110M in annual revenue, was struggling to process roughly 45,000 invoices a year across multiple offices and job sites. Their finance team was overrun by paper-based workflows, a fully manual 3-way matching process, limited visibility into invoice images and approvals, and weak controls over capital purchases. To address this, R.T. Moore partnered with DataServ and planned to deploy its AutoVouch™ invoice automation technology.

DataServ delivered a tailored automation plan integrated with R.T. Moore’s ERP (Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains), automating 3-way matching and using AutoVouch to enable a high percentage of touchless invoice processing. The solution is expected to produce sizable cost savings and much faster processing, reduce errors, free the finance team for higher-value work, and provide enhanced visibility, more accurate financial evaluations, better accountability, and clearer accruals—outcomes R.T. Moore anticipates from the DataServ implementation.
