Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals, a global leader in chemical manufacturing and medical products, faced inefficiencies in its credit and collections operations after growing through acquisitions and running six ERP platforms. These issues—difficulty locating invoices and credit documents—led to extended days sales outstanding (DSO) and unnecessary write-offs. To address this, Mallinckrodt partnered with DataServ and deployed DataServ’s Quote to Cash (Q2C) automation solution.

DataServ implemented daily data feeds from each ERP, created legally acceptable electronic invoice images, and provided global, desktop access with document linking, annotation, PDF export and one‑click emailing. As a result, Mallinckrodt achieved improved DSO, fewer staff handling a higher transaction volume, reduced write-offs, stronger customer relationships, minimal IT involvement, and a favorable total cost of ownership and ROI from the DataServ solution.
