Wiese USA, a wholesale and distribution company based in St. Louis, partnered with DataServ to address a highly decentralized Accounts Payable process spread across 60 locations. Before the project, invoices were handled manually at each branch and headquarters, creating delays, lost documents, poor visibility, and extra work for local staff using two ERP systems.

DataServ implemented AP invoice automation and centralized Wiese’s invoice processing, integrating with both EBS and Microsoft Dynamics AX. The solution reduced AP personnel from over 20 partial roles to a focused team of 5–6, drove a 75% reduction in FTEs, and achieved a 72% first-pass AutoVouch™ success rate and 66% first-pass success rate for PO invoices. As a result, Wiese improved cash flow visibility, cut payable time significantly, and shifted staff toward customer service.
