A DataRobot Case Study
The National Association of Realtors, the largest U.S. trade association representing about 1.4 million real estate professionals, needed to better understand and serve diverse member needs but was hampered by fragmented, ad hoc analytics and no standardized data-science framework. To close that gap, the association evaluated solutions and ran a proof-of-concept with DataRobot, adopting DataRobot’s enterprise AI platform to accelerate model building and predict member behaviors like conference attendance.
Using DataRobot and hands-on support from a customer-facing data scientist, NAR centralized its data science team and built deployable models for conference attendance, member churn, certification attainment, and commercial interest. DataRobot’s speed, modeling power, and interpretability tools improved productivity, strengthened cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder trust, and moved the association from static reports to targeted, actionable outreach to retain and engage members.
