A DataRobot Case Study
Matmut, a major French insurance group, was building predictive models in a single Jupyter notebook, a slow, highly manual process that required extensive coding and limited collaboration. To accelerate analytics while respecting strict privacy constraints, Matmut adopted DataRobot—using AI Foundation and Predictive AI—to serve as a single platform for automated modeling and business–data science collaboration.
DataRobot automated Matmut’s end‑to‑end lifecycle (data preparation with Feature Discovery, modeling, deployment and monitoring), supplemented by DataRobot University training and hands‑on partnership. The result: a three‑times productivity gain over the previous manual approach, stronger cross‑functional collaboration among data scientists, analysts and actuaries, and the ability to scale AI across dozens of use cases (forecasting auto‑loan demand, modeling natural disasters, predicting claims volume) with fewer resources.
