AUTOproff, an emerging European leader in digital dealer-to-dealer trading with more than 100,000 cars on auction in 2021 and 1,400+ daily vehicle estimates, faced a scaling challenge: delivering guaranteed price quotes within 20 minutes relied on a team of skilled estimators and was becoming a bottleneck. To solve this, AUTOproff engaged DataRobot and its DataRobot AI Platform (including AutoML and MLOps) to automate and scale pricing operations.
Using the DataRobot AI Platform and DataRobot MLOps, AUTOproff built an AI-driven Pricing Robot that automates end-to-end modeling—from feature selection to monitoring—and now handles roughly 55–60% of all estimates. DataRobot’s solution shortened quote turnaround times, cut experimentation and deployment from months to weeks (models now reach production in about three weeks), reduced the estimating team needed for modeling, and positioned AUTOproff to scale across Europe.
