Seton Scholl London International (SSL) faced the challenge of consolidating disparate ERP data from numerous acquired companies onto a new SAP platform. The healthcare manufacturer needed to merge and structure historical data from multiple non-SAP systems to enable decommissioning of old hardware and ease the SAP migration. DataNovation addressed this with its DataNovata application.

The solution involved DataNovation creating a customized XML and Java-based DataNovata application to archive and provide access to data from 11 legacy systems, including 1500 database tables. The project was completed in under 12 months, requiring only one week of user training. As a result, SSL successfully decommissioned its iSeries/AS400 platform with no loss of data integrity and avoided costly additional SAP licenses, achieving full historical data accessibility.
