The customer, a government department dealing company, was challenged by its legacy Fujitsu VME IDMSX mainframe, which hindered its ability to efficiently provide critical winter fuel financial assistance. They needed to retire the outdated system to grant officers immediate and remote access while incorporating essential accessibility features. DataNovation was engaged to provide a solution.

DataNovation successfully migrated the application from the mainframe to a Linux platform, porting the data into a DataNovata application viewer with a Postgres database. The project was completed in just six months. This solution significantly reduced the time and effort required to process support requests and approvals, while also providing disabled users with full, independent access to the application's functionality from mobile devices.
