The aerospace division of a global industrial conglomerate faced a significant challenge with its legacy product inventory control system. An outdated system from 1988 presented a high risk due to imminent vendor support withdrawal, creating compliance and cost liabilities. DataNovation provided its DataNovata solution to eliminate these legacy risks and create reliable, compliant access to historical technical data.

DataNovation successfully migrated the legacy database to an SQL Server and automatically generated a compliant HTML5 application. As a result, the client was able to decommission the old server, eliminating its associated costs. Following a successful three-month pilot, the client deployed six more instances of DataNovata and continues to expand its use across its global network of companies.
