Kantonsspital Glarus, a Swiss hospital, sought to become a digital pioneer in employee training. The challenge was to effectively train its 600 staff on a wide variety of applications, including Opale and Polypoint, while also overcoming the complexity of operating in a trilingual country. To address this, the hospital turned to vendor datango to digitize and translate its training content.

datango implemented its creator software to develop a complete eLearning environment from a single recording, which was easily translatable into over 40 languages. The solution also included datango live!, a real-time help system that acts like a navigation system within live applications, and a Learning Management solution for mandatory course assignments. As a result, the hospital can now efficiently provide interactive, gamified training and automatically generate certificates and reports, significantly reducing the time previously spent on classroom training.
