Fiduciary Trust Company International, a member of Franklin Templeton Investments, is a global asset management firm that needed a secure messaging solution for clients increasingly using the Web to communicate with investment managers. The company wanted to maintain privacy and security while integrating the solution into a diverse, heterogeneous IT environment. It turned to DataMotion and its SecureMail product.

DataMotion SecureMail was implemented to work with Fiduciary Trust’s mixed Sun/Solaris, AIX, and Windows systems using open standards such as XML and Internet protocols. The solution integrated seamlessly, required very little maintenance, and provided excellent performance, top-level security, and great functionality at a low cost. Fiduciary Trust also noted that DataMotion made it easier to cluster servers, add capacity, and consolidate on Windows 2000 to simplify management.
