Altra Federal Credit Union, based in LaCrosse, Wisconsin, needed a better way to exchange sensitive member documents while protecting private data and working with a small IT staff. The credit union also wanted a solution that was cloud-based, easy to use, could fit its security plan, and support faster service for members. DataMotion was selected to help address these needs.

Altra began using DataMotion SecureMail to send confidential emails from its existing Outlook client, then added SecureContact to let members securely email the credit union through its website. DataMotion helped Altra reduce call center calls and costs, improve productivity and compliance, speed up customer inquiries, and give members more confidence in the security of their information. The credit union also used the solution for internal payroll communications and to send certification exam results much faster.
