India's Largest Private Sector Bank, a large national retail and corporate lender with thousands of branches and ATMs, needed to automate KYC form processing to handle volume spikes, improve accuracy, enable form tracking and exception handling on-premises, and avoid hiring temporary resources. Datamatics was engaged to address these challenges using its RPA platform TruBot along with process redesign and on‑premises scanning/mail‑room services.
Datamatics implemented redesigned KYC forms, on‑premises scanning, RPA‑powered TruBot, Intelligent Process Manager (iPM), auto‑classification and in‑built validations, delivering CSV outputs via secure FTP to the core banking system. The solution cut cycle time from 8 days to 2 days, reduced processing time per form from 900 seconds to 265 seconds, raised quality from 95% to 99.5%, and significantly lowered the bank’s operational costs.
