TruBI Enables a Leading Public Sector Bank to Analyze and Monitor Critical Business Information

Largest Private Sector Banks, a century‑old Indian bank with more than 850 branches across 22 states and over 11 million customers, needed a single, centralized Business Intelligence platform to improve data analysis and speed up organization‑wide decision making. The bank was relying on manual PL/SQL report generation from multiple servers, which made data consolidation slow, error‑prone and costly, prevented timely ad‑hoc and periodic reporting, and required a dedicated reporting team. To address this, the bank engaged Datamatics and its TruBI BI solution.

Datamatics implemented TruBI to deliver a single “vision of truth,” enabling branch‑level or network‑wide reporting, self‑service dashboards and scheduled reports. The solution produced more than 100 dashboards and over 20 loan‑product KPIs, added drill‑down and slice‑and‑dice capabilities, and centralized KPI views. As a result, Datamatics helped the bank accelerate decision making, improve report accuracy and visibility across its network, and reduce the manual effort and cost of report generation.
