Realized Revenue Growth in the New Car Business Units Using Gps Devices

Leading Vehicle Intelligence Company, North America’s leading connected vehicle intelligence provider, engaged Datamatics to grow its new car business and modernize its aftermarket offering. The customer needed an intuitive mobile app and better integration with its Connected Car technology to enable real‑time GPS tracking, consumer-facing geo‑fencing on iOS/Android, vehicle monitoring (location, health, battery) and improved stolen-vehicle recovery capabilities.

Datamatics co‑developed a mobile application integrated with the client’s Connected Car system and aftermarket GPS devices, delivering features such as real‑time tracking, geo‑fences, speed and low‑battery alerts, stolen vehicle recovery, battery voltage indicator, location sharing and alert mapping. The solution drove measurable impact: a 19% revenue increase in the car business unit, 61% higher product shipments to new car dealerships, more than 3.5 million GPS devices installed across 14,000 dealerships, and an average stolen-vehicle recovery time of 26 minutes, while improving accuracy, productivity and customer experience.
