American Ancestors & New England Historic Genealogical Society (NEHGS), the oldest member‑based genealogical organization in the U.S., needed to migrate its MSSQL AlwaysOn cluster and application workloads from hosted infrastructure to the AWS cloud, add audit capabilities, and implement geo‑redundant archival storage. NEHGS engaged Datamatics to plan and deliver an AWS cloud migration, using IaaS and SaaS solutions with integrated security and centralized authentication.

Datamatics built a cloud roadmap, completed the migration within one month, deployed production, dev and staging environments, upgraded OSes, integrated on‑prem AD with AWS Active Directory, and enabled horizontal scaling with ELB and centralized monitoring.
