The customer, Leading Financial Institution, is a major Indian lender providing debt financing to MSMEs and consumers (over 7 million customers across 225+ locations) that needed to increase market penetration and deliver a more engaging, low-friction digital experience. They engaged Datamatics to design and develop lightweight, easily accessible mobile and web apps — leveraging Datamatics’ mobile engineering services and Google Firebase–based components — to drive adoption among SMEs and retail customers.

Datamatics delivered Customer, Sales, Delivery and AMS apps using MVP/MVVM architecture, Smart Data Capture, multi-language support, advanced geo-tracking, custom APIs, 3D touchpoints and app analytics, reducing Android/iOS app size from 24 MB to 3 MB and improving performance and reuse across products. The outcome: more than 1 million Google Play downloads, Play Store rating uplift from 3.6 to 4.2, and measurable operational savings (including 36 hours saved handling no-network conditions and dozens of additional hours saved by reusing Firebase components and shared features) attributable to Datamatics’ solution.
