Leading lifestyle products retailer adopts BI solution to address MIS reporting needs

Leading Lifestyle Products Retailer, the holding company for several international retail brands with 350+ points of sale across 32 Indian cities, needed a modern MIS/BI platform to deliver real-time, in-depth insight to decision makers. Disparate and legacy systems (Btrieve, Shopper 9, Tally.ERP 9, Retail Pro) prevented consolidation, trend and trade analysis, and timely reporting—so the retailer engaged Datamatics to address these challenges using its nSights BI solution.

Datamatics implemented nSights BI on top of a SQL Server data warehouse that consolidated exports from Btrieve, Shopper, Tally and Retail Pro, mapping historic and current data for analysis and dashboards. As a result Datamatics enabled delivery of consolidated, executive-ready reports (cubes, 2D views, charts and dashboards) across the enterprise, giving users a single view of critical metrics, real-time reporting and improved collaboration—reports are now delivered directly to top management with unlimited dimensions and measures for comprehensive analysis.
