Global Communications Enterprise, a leading global provider in communications with extensive submarine cable and data center assets, needed a scalable, centralized intranet to improve governance and provide easy access to department information. Their existing B2E collaboration platform lacked scalability and unified information management, so they engaged Datamatics to design and implement a modern intranet portal using Microsoft SharePoint 2010 Server.

Datamatics implemented a SharePoint 2010–based intranet with central document repositories, access and version control, content and event publishing, meeting management, social collaboration features, ADS and Exchange integration, automated supplier evaluation and change-management workflows, and a delta migration of thousands of documents with no production downtime.
