Major Health Insurance Provider, a leading multi-line healthcare enterprise in the United States, needed to migrate its IBM Datacap platform from version 8 to 9, unify multiple Datacap applications, and optimize systems that support government and private healthcare claims. They engaged Datamatics to perform the migration and modernization, including work with the mClass solution from IBM Datacap to handle US standard claim forms.

Datamatics customized and implemented the mClass/IBM Datacap solution to support UB-04 and CMS-1500 forms, upgraded Datacap applications for New Customer Onboarding and cashless hospitalization authorization, and consolidated multiple Datacap apps into a unified system. As a result, Datamatics helped the Major Health Insurance Provider reduce the number of Datacap applications for easier maintenance and deliver improved features and functionality from Datacap 9, streamlining claims and onboarding processes.
