Leading Private Sector Bank needed to improve tracking efficiency for courier/speed post deliveries that were being managed via an error-prone, Excel-based process. The bank’s daily workflow required logging AWB numbers into a third‑party site, reading and entering CAPTCHA codes and manually copying status details — a people‑intensive activity performed by 20 FTEs, causing high overhead, delays and third‑party dependency. Datamatics was engaged to resolve these challenges using Robotic Process Automation (RPA).

Datamatics implemented a multi‑bot RPA solution (five bots) to read AWB numbers from Excel, log into the courier site with bank credentials, capture and enter CAPTCHAs, extract tracking records and update the Excel status file automatically. Datamatics’ automation cut cycle time from two hours to 10 minutes (a 92% improvement in TAT), completely eliminated the outsourced 20 FTE task and significantly improved accuracy and cost efficiency.
