Automated Mortgage Applications Processing For A Leading US Bank

Leading US Bank, one of the ten largest banks in the USA, needed to digitize 1.4 million pages of back-file mortgage applications while processing ongoing applications, requiring capture, classification, indexing and integration with its Document Management Solution (DMS). The bank engaged Datamatics to provide end-to-end mortgage processing services, including mailroom, scanning, indexing and data capture using Datamatics’ TruCap+ solution.

Datamatics delivered a blended onshore–offshore mailroom, scanning, indexing and output-conversion service with uploads to the bank’s DMS and deployed TruCap+ for accurate data capture and classification. The project digitized over 1.4 million documents at 99.5% character-level accuracy, produced cost savings through the resource blend, and achieved high scalability and synchronized data across locations via DMS integration.
