Leading Banking Institution, a major Asian bank that enables FASTag payments across 260 toll plazas and 15 parking locations, needed an all-in-one mobile solution to deliver a seamless user experience, simplified onboarding and payments, and an admin portal to manage operations. Datamatics was engaged to build a multi-platform FASTag app (FIRSTforward Mobile App) to serve commercial and retail vehicle customers with travel-related services and reduce manual operational overhead.
Datamatics implemented the multi-platform FASTag app with features like tag issuance, payments/recharge, FASTag tracking, dispute raising, statements, profile updates, and adding drivers, plus an admin portal and integrations with IDFY, ESB, DIMTS and CCAvenue for secure payments. The Datamatics solution enabled minimal-document onboarding, doubled user retention rates in some cases, reduced manual operational costs, gave customers clearer transaction visibility, and helped potentially lower toll congestion through faster, automated processing.
