Leading American Sales & Marketing Company, an international sales and marketing consultancy providing direct marketing and call‑centre solutions, faced rising costs from a private datacentre and needed to migrate production clusters and MS SQL databases to AWS while meeting stricter data‑privacy and audit requirements. Datamatics was engaged to plan and execute the move to AWS Cloud and to deliver an available, secure, scalable foundation using IaaS/SaaS approaches.

Datamatics completed a four‑month migration after an IT assessment and cloud roadmap, moving the client’s applications and databases to AWS with IAM, VPC isolation, site‑to‑site VPN, two Availability Zones, ELB horizontal scaling, CloudWatch monitoring, S3 backups, page‑level/RDS encryption and integration of on‑prem AD with AWS AD, plus a SQL Server upgrade to 2019.
