Large Private Sector Bank, a major Indian bank with a global presence, needed to automate its customer swipe-in and swipe-out process in the core banking system to reduce operational costs and improve efficiency. Datamatics was engaged to assess feasibility and deploy its AI-enabled RPA solution, TruBot, to centralize and automate request processing.
Datamatics implemented a web interface linked to the bank’s unified desktop and deployed TruBot to capture and execute swipe requests centrally, eliminating decentralized manual processing. As a result, processing time dropped from about 12 hours to 3–4 minutes, customers receive real-time updates, execution accuracy reached 100%, and Datamatics’ automation delivered an 80% reduction in resource costs with only one employee handling robot exceptions.
