GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) needed to bring in a new analysis tool and quickly combine data from two existing Oracle 8 databases used by separate international business groups. The databases held 200–300MB each of complex medical trial data, and the structure was complicated by integrations with other company databases.

Datalynx worked with GSK IT staff in the US and UK, along with Microsoft in the UK, to handle database design, development and migration, including mapping, production data migration, and issue management and resolution. Datalynx successfully completed the consolidation within the tight timeframe, enabling GSK to enhance its medical data analytics.
