Van Tilburg Mode & Sport - Customer Case Study

Van Tilburg Mode & Sport, the largest independent fashion store in the Netherlands, needed to modernize its manual online order picking and packing process. As its e-commerce business grew, employees were using paper pick lists and had little visibility into order status, while stock sold through physical stores created a need for near real-time coordination between the webshop and POS systems. The company turned to Datalogic Memor 10 handheld computers, together with customized software from ICS Vertex and a new ERP system from ACA Fashion Software.

Datalogic helped implement a fully digitized pick-and-pack workflow using the Memor 10, integrated with SCanSuite and ACA’s XPRT ERP environment. The solution added item images and key product details on the scanner screen, supported offline picking and future RFID use, and optimized batch picking, packing, and label generation. Van Tilburg Mode & Sport reports that efficiency has increased significantly, with faster processing and an expected reduction in picking errors and returns.
