Schösswender, an Austrian furniture manufacturer, faced challenges with its manual, paper-based inventory system after expanding production. Datalogic, along with its partner Barcotec, implemented the Falcon mobile computer and easyMITS production software using 2D Data Matrix codes. The solution was fully operational within weeks, eliminating manual controls and significantly reducing error rates. The system saved up to one day per week on some tasks and reduced employee training to a minimum. Due to its success, Schösswender plans to expand the Datalogic system to merchandise and stocking areas.
