Ovotrack, a provider of traceability systems for the egg grading and processing industry, needed a new mobile barcode terminal when Windows CE was phased out. Working with Datalogic partner Vierpool, the company looked for an Android-based replacement for its “On Farm Scanning” module used to scan pallet labels and capture farm pickup data.

Datalogic supplied the Memor 10 PDA, giving Ovotrack an Android Enterprise Recommended device with Wi‑Fi, 4G+, strong display brightness, Green-Spot scan confirmation, and wireless battery charging. The upgrade improved scanning reliability and security, helped avoid charging-contact issues, and supported Ovotrack’s goal of keeping customer data secure and its mobile devices up to date.
