The Dustin Group, a Nordic electronics and computer supplier, needed highly reliable and rugged barcode readers for its new 18-station warehouse to manage a high volume of shipments. Their outdated hardware was a challenge for maintaining efficient shipping and receiving routines. Datalogic, through its partner DataFångst AB, provided the solution with its PowerScan industrial readers.

Datalogic implemented its PowerScan PM8300 and PD8300 handheld scanners at the receiving and shipping stations. The readers integrated with the warehouse system to verify orders and automate inventory updates and label printing. The result was a significant improvement in productivity and order accuracy, with warehouse staff praising the readers for their superior ruggedness, reliability, and strong laser visibility.
