Datalogic installed its Joya™ pods and Shopevolution™ 6.0 middleware, allowing customers to scan items as they shop and then pay quickly at a dedicated checkout. This solution led to a 15% increase in revenue for the store and greatly enhanced customer satisfaction by eliminating surprises at the register and reducing wait times. The success of this deployment prompted Conad Centro Nord to expand the Datalogic system into more of its stores.
